Andrea Anders
Anders was born in Madison, Wisconsin, and lived within DeForest, Wisconsin, but she is now living with her family in Los Angeles. In 1993, she graduated from DeForest Area High school in DeForest Wisconsin. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 1997. She graduated with a Master's Degree in Fine Arts in 2001 from Rutgers University. Anders and Matt LeBlanc dated from 2006 until 2015. They met when they were filming for the now-cancelled sitcom Joey. Her brother is director Sean Anders (Sex Drive, Never Been Thawed). Anders began working in theatres in 2001. In the Broadway show Proof She was Mary Louise Parker's understudy. Later in The Graduate, Anders played Elaine Robinson. Additionally, she was in On the Jump on the Arena Stage and New Doors at the Guthrie Theater. The actress is also a part of Two New York Stage & Film productions: Cold/Tender as well as New World Rhapsody. Anders debuted in Fat Pig, a Geffen Playhouse show. Fat Pig, which closed it's doors on July 1 2007 saw her play the role of Jeannie a accountant. Anders was first seen on TV in an ad for Dannon the show, which ran from 2006. She then appeared on the show in the 90s. Anders has been a part of Joey in the roles of Alex Garrett the lawyer and The Class (nee Campbell) as Nicole Allen - an ex footballer's wife. Anders appeared in each episode of both shows, but neither was renewed. Anders has also made appearances as a guest on One Life to Live, Law & Order, The Guiding Light as well as Tru Calling. In 2003 she appeared as Donna Degenhart on five episodes of the HBO drama Oz. Also, she made brief appearances on The Stepford Wives (2004) as Heather and Sex Drive (2008) as Brandy. Anders also appeared on Numb3rs in 2008. Anders made appearances in two unfulfilled TV pilots. Spellbound was one, as was News To Me another. Recently, Anders was cast in Better Off Ted, a single-camera workplace comedy written by Victor Fresco for ABC.
