Beyoncé Giselle Knowles
Beyonce Giselle Knowles was conceived in
Houston, Texas on September 4, 1981. Her mom, Tina Knowles-Lawson is the
designer of their glittering costumes, and her dad, Mathew Knowles, manages
Destiny's Child. Solange is her sibling (4 years separated by four years)
released her first album. She dances with her big sister at DC-3 shows. Beyonce
is of Louisiana Creole & African descent. Whitney Houston found her and
her band. Lovefool is a song by The Cardigans, is her favorite track. Her most
coveted piece of clothing is a pair of path work boots made of metallic. She
was the writer and producer of some of the group's best-known songs, such as
"Jumpin jumping", "Bootylicious", Nasty Girl","
Independent Women", "Happy Face", as well as "Apple Pie A
La Mode". She is the singer-songwriter of Destiny's Child. In her opening
show, she performed together with Christina Aguilera (2000). Toured together
with TLC as their opening show (1999). Has a cat named Master P. She attended
the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Texas. Solange's
bigger sister and Nixon and Koi Knowles the older half-sister. One time, she
appeared in Star Search (1983). The singer was the first African-American woman
ever to receive the ASCAP Pop Songwriter of the Year Award in 2001. Is a huge
admirer of Middle Eastern music and dance. Her greatest hit song is "Crazy
in Love", (2003). The Radio Music Awards, MTV Europe Video Music Awards
and Billboard Awards are among the awards shows she has been on stage at in
2003. In November 2003, Bono of U2 organized a South African AIDS benefit
concert. The goal was to combat the AIDS epidemic in sub Saharan Africa. She
was awarded five Grammy Awards for her song "Dangerously in Love"
(February 8 2004,). Her father, Mathew, is of African American descent. Tina
her mother is Louisiana Creole. Her ancestors are who are predominantly African
as well as French. They also have Canadian and Canadian ancestors. Beyonce is
also 1/32 Irish descent, and is distantly related to Breton, Spanish,
Indonesian and Chinese heritage from her maternal side, as well. She has been
reported as saying that to get over her shyness she developed the stage persona
"Sasha".
